Who's the Bad Guy?

As the US Illegal Internet Gambling Act is broadcasting the news with stories of money and the WWW, men wonder what the actual difference between online gaming and internet commerce is.

Imagine two people hanging in their agencies both of them risk their money on Internet, while one of them is breaking the legislative norms, at the same time the other one is not. One of these businessmen is a day dealer, and with no respect to how you take that fact, that man is risking his money for the chance to get back more money. It seems to me that both men are using the Internet for one and the same reason. On the other hand, the person gambling online is at present participating in a dishonest industry. Why illegitimate? For the reason that Government of the USA doesn't get a single cent of the revenues from the the army of online gamblers. The Government only gets tax money from the day online trader.

Every day residents of America lose immense sums of money on dealing with security papers, that are not located in Wall Street business centers, but from their sitting rooms. Those normal people are not high-class stock brokers, and they do not obtain any license - in spite of all this they have no legal barriers to risk their funds and get immense profits.

As a matter of fact, the one single actual differing feature between day trading and online gambling is the the scale of investments the US Government receives from the businesses: E-commerce = lots of money; Gambling on Internet = not a cent and lots of new casino bonuses for gamblers. It is said that the US Congress passed the anti-online gambling ban exactly for the abovementioned reason that the country is loose all the possible profits daily.
